Located opposite Ballarat’s historic City Oval in Lake Wendouree, the City Oval Hotel has been a local landmark since circa 1910. Our work focused on refurbishing the public bar, refreshing the space while respecting its heritage character. As one of JAGA’s earliest projects, this pub holds a special place for us. A rich mix of concrete, timber, tiles, brick, black steel, copper and brass brings warmth and texture to the interior.
